Description
The Hobby Glass Cleaning Magnet is an algae magnet with a stainless steel blade that scrapes algae off the inside of the aquarium glass while you steer it from outside.
Key Features
- Steel Blade: made of high-grade V4A stainless steel, the grade used in shipbuilding.
- Safe On The Tank: Hobby guarantee it does not cut silicone joints or scratch the glass.
- Leaves No Streaks: removes algae cleanly from the glass.
- Two Strengths: the Standard magnet is for glass up to 8 mm thick, the Jumbo for glass up to 12 mm.
Sizes We Hold
- Standard - for glass up to 8 mm
- Jumbo - extra strong, for glass up to 12 mm, about 9 x 3.8 x 1.8 cm
Good To Know
- Check your glass thickness before you choose. A magnet that is too weak for the glass will slip.
- Keep sand and gravel away from the blade. A grain trapped under it can scratch the glass.
- After use in a marine tank, rinse it in fresh water.
- Spare blades are available for both sizes.
