Description
The Hobby Prawn Pyramid 4-3-2-1 is a stack of ten small fired-clay tubes, built up in rows of four, three, two and one, that shrimp and small crayfish use as a hiding place.
Key Features
- Ten Hiding Tubes: plenty of separate retreats in one piece.
- Fired Clay: natural burnt clay, robust and easy to look after.
- Red Terracotta Colour: a warm natural shade.
- Compact: about 6.5 x 6.5 x 5 cm, so it suits nano tanks too.
Size
- About 6.5 x 6.5 x 5 cm
Good To Know
- Shrimp hide most after moulting, when their new shell is still soft, so shelters help them survive.
- Rinse in plain water before use.
- Algae and biofilm that grow on the clay give shrimp something extra to graze.
