Description
The Lupine Pet Basic Solids Safety Cat Collar is a 1/2 inch wide woven nylon cat collar with a breakaway buckle that comes apart if the collar gets caught, made by LupinePet in New Hampshire, USA. We hold it in eight solid colours, with or without a bell.
Key Features
- Breakaway Safety Buckle: a YKK buckle designed by LupinePet to release at about 5 lb (around 2.3 kg) of pull, so a cat caught on a branch or fence can pull free.
- Adjustable: fits necks from 8 to 12 in (about 20 to 30 cm).
- Woven Nylon Webbing: soft, light and durable.
- Steel D-Ring: for an ID tag.
- Bell Or No Bell: every colour comes in a version with a bell and one without.

Good To Know
- It is an ID collar only. Never clip a lead to it - the buckle is made to open under pull.
- Leave room for two fingers under the collar once it is done up.
- Check the fit and the webbing often. LupinePet notes that scratching can fray the collar and make it tighter.
- Because the buckle is meant to come off, keep your cat microchipped as well, in case the collar is lost.
