PURINA PRO PLAN Age Defence Sensitive Skin Salmon with OPTIDERMA is a complete dry food for medium and large breed dogs over 7 years old whose skin needs support. It does two jobs at once, which is what makes it useful: the salmon-based OPTIDERMA formula for skin and coat, and the adapted protein and fat levels an older dog needs.

Fat is held at 14%, the leanest in the Pro Plan adult dog range, because a less active senior dog gains weight easily. EPA at 0.2% is double the level in the standard Age Defence recipe, and works on both skin condition and joint comfort.

Feeding Guide

Daily amounts by bodyweight and activity level. Older dogs are usually less active, so start at the lower end and adjust to keep body condition steady. For bodyweights between the rows below, read the full chart printed on the pack.

• Split the daily ration across two meals.
• Skin and coat changes take several weeks to show. Give the diet around 8 weeks before judging whether it is working.
• Keep fresh drinking water available at all times.
• When switching from another food, transition gradually over about 7 days.

Storage

• Reseal the bag after each use and store in a cool, dry place.
