PURINA PRO PLAN Sensitive Digestion Small & Mini Adult with OPTIDIGEST is a complete dry food for small and mini breed adult dogs from 1 to 7 years whose digestion needs a gentler approach. Lamb is the first ingredient at 20%, chosen because it is both highly digestible and an uncommon enough protein to suit dogs that react to chicken.

The working ingredient is bentonite at 6,000 mg/kg, a natural clay that binds excess moisture in the gut and firms up stool quality, which is usually the thing an owner is actually trying to fix. Highly digestible egg and a prebiotic source, scientifically proven to increase bifidobacteria for a better gut microflora balance, do the rest.

Analytical Constituents

Composition

Lamb (20%), dehydrated poultry protein, maize, rice (8%), maize grits, dried beet pulp, animal fat, digest, soya meal, maize gluten meal, dried egg, minerals, fish oil, yeasts.

Please note: lamb is the lead meat, but the composition also includes dehydrated poultry protein. If you are avoiding poultry entirely, check the full composition before feeding.

Feeding Guide

• Daily amounts depend on your dog's bodyweight and activity level. The complete feeding table is printed on the pack.
• Split the daily ration across two meals.
• Transition especially slowly onto this food, over 7 to 10 days rather than the usual 7, since the dog you are feeding it to already has a sensitive gut.
• Keep fresh drinking water available at all times.

Storage

• Reseal the bag after each use and store in a cool, dry place.
