DIRECTIONS: Use Balance to raise pH when all other parameters (alkalinity, calcium, magnesium) are optimal but pH is still low. The amount required to elevate pH to the desired level can vary widely based on your tank water's buffering capacity and quality. As a guide, 5mL of Balance can raise the pH of 55L (15 US gallons) of salt water by about 0.1 pH units. Add Balance in small increments, and wait at least 3 minutes before adding additional increments, checking pH each time.
