Description
Zolux Internal Bird Bath for Cages is a plain white plastic bath that sits on the floor of a cage so small birds can bathe without the room getting soaked.
Key Features
- Open rectangular tub with smooth sides a wet bird can climb out of
- Shallow enough for a canary or budgie to stand in rather than swim
- Lifts straight out to empty and rinse
- Plain white plastic with nothing printed inside to stain
Good To Know
- Fill it no deeper than a bird's legs. Birds bathe standing up, and a deep bath is a drowning risk rather than a better wash.
- Bathe in the morning, not at night. A bird that goes to roost damp in an air-conditioned room gets chilled.
- Take it out once the bird has finished. Left in, it becomes a water bowl, and birds drink where they have bathed.
- Plain water only. Soap strips the oil out of feathers and it takes a full moult to come back.
