Description
Zolux Cat Lodge 3 Scratcher and Den in FSC Plywood is a sloping panel of woven sisal set over an enclosed den, built from two curved plywood sides.
Key Features
- Woven sisal panel across the sloping top, bound at the edges with fabric - a flat mat rather than wound cord
- The slope is the point: a cat scratches at an angle rather than straight up or flat down
- Den underneath with a cushioned floor and a round porthole cut in each curved side
- Cushion lifts straight out, and the sisal panel is sold as a replaceable part
- Curved plywood sides with wooden toggles holding it together
Good To Know
- Installation is not included. It arrives flat-packed and the frame goes together before it will stand up.
- Zolux certify the wood FSC and sell the fabric parts as replaceable, so the frame should outlast several covers. Both are their claims about the range rather than ours.
- Sisal sheds fibres as it is worked. That is the material doing its job rather than falling apart, and a brush over the floor is the whole of the maintenance.
- Two openings matter in a multi-cat house. A den with one way out is a place a cat can be cornered; this one has a porthole at each side.
