Description
The Aqua Ocean SPS Premium Marine Salt Carton 20kg is a reef salt made for SPS hard coral aquariums, with raised calcium, magnesium and strontium plus trace elements, vitamins and amino acids.
Key Features
- Formulated for SPS (small polyp stony) hard corals
- Calcium, magnesium and strontium, with a wide range of trace elements
- Enriched with vitamins including B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12 and C, plus amino acids
- Free from nitrates, phosphates and silicates
- 20kg makes about 600 litres of saltwater
How To Use
- Add about 1kg of salt to 30 litres of RO or dechlorinated water.
- Mix with a pump or powerhead until fully dissolved and let the water settle before use.
- Check salinity with a refractometer or hydrometer, and match temperature to the tank before a water change.
Good To Know
- Never add dry salt straight into a tank with livestock.
- Store the carton somewhere dry — salt absorbs moisture and can clump.
