Carnilove Turkey & Salmon Paté Can Wet Cat Food - For Kitten - 6x100g

Carnilove Turkey & Salmon Paté for Kittens is a complete grain-free wet food built around real animal protein, with herbs, vegetables and fruits and nothing else added for effect.

Wet food is worth taking seriously for a cat. Cats evolved in dry country and drink far less than their bodies actually need, taking most of their water from prey. A kitten raised on dry food alone lives mildly dehydrated, and over years that is a recognised risk factor for the urinary and kidney problems that affect so many cats. At 79% moisture, this does the job water bowls do not.

Turkey and salmon give easily digestible protein and healthy fats for early growth. Cranberries support urinary resilience, salmon oil supports skin and coat, and peas and plant extracts aid digestion.

Feeding Guide

• Follow the feeding table printed on the can. A kitten's daily amount rises steadily as it grows.
• Offer three to four small meals a day while young, reducing to two by around six months.
• Reduce the amount if you are also feeding dry food.
• Serve at room temperature. Cats judge food largely by smell, and cold food from the fridge smells of very little.
• Always provide fresh drinking water.

Storage

• Store unopened cans in a cool, dry place.
• Once opened, cover, refrigerate and use within 2 days.
