Description
The Dymax Black Bio Sponge is a black filter sponge pad for trapping debris and growing beneficial bacteria in trickle, top and canister filters.
Key Features
- 32 × 12 cm pad, cut to fit your filter
- Traps loose particles and hosts nitrifying bacteria
- For freshwater and marine aquariums
- Dymax packs this sponge two to a pack
Good To Know
- Squeeze the sponge out in a bucket of old tank water when flow drops; replace only when it starts to fall apart.
- Rinse biological media in old tank water, never under the tap — chlorinated water kills the bacteria that protect your fish.
- Never replace all your filter media at once; change a portion at a time so the bacteria colony survives.
