Fish4Dogs Finest Complete Wet Dog Food - 3 x 185g

The Fish4Dogs Finest Complete Wet Dog Food is a complete wet food in 185 g tins, made from Norwegian fish and potato and very little else — 59% fish, 7% potato and minerals.

Key Features

• Herring — 59% herring with 7% potato. Analytical constituents: 9% protein, 7% fat, 2.3% ash, 0.1% fibre, 81% moisture
• Mackerel — 59% mackerel with 7% potato. Analytical constituents: 10% protein, 8% fat, 2.7% ash, 0.5% fibre, 78% moisture
• A complete food, unlike most of the Fish4Dogs wet range — this one can be fed as the whole diet
• Grain-free, with no artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives
• Added vitamin D3 at 200 IU/kg, vitamin E at 20 mg/kg and zinc oxide at 13 mg/kg
• Marine omega-3 arrives as EPA and DHA already formed, so a dog does not have to convert it the way it must with plant oils
• Made by Fish4Dogs, a British company that builds its recipes around fish rather than using it as a flavouring

Feeding

• Feed on its own as a complete meal, or mix it through dry food for variety and moisture
• If you mix it with kibble, cut the kibble back to match, or you are simply adding calories
• Follow the guide on the tin by your dog's weight, and adjust to keep your dog lean
• Change food over across about a week, mixing a little more of the new in each day
• Always leave fresh, clean drinking water available

Storage

• Once opened, cover, refrigerate and use within 48 hours

Good To Know

• The short ingredient list is the point — fish, potato and minerals. That makes it a useful option for a dog on an elimination or single-protein trial, with a vet's guidance
• Do not leave wet food sitting in the bowl for hours in UAE heat. Take up whatever is not eaten within about half an hour
• Fish is a common trigger in dogs with food sensitivities. If your dog has itchy skin or recurring ear trouble, fish is worth ruling in or out with a vet rather than feeding more of
• At 78–81% moisture, a 185 g tin is a smaller meal than it looks. Check the feeding guide before assuming three tins will last a week
• The two recipes are close but not identical: the mackerel runs slightly higher in protein and fat
