Flamingo Latex Cat Jumbo Squeaky Dog Toy - 30cm

The Flamingo Latex Cat Jumbo Squeaky Dog Toy is a 30 cm soft latex squeaky toy moulded in the shape of a cat, made for dogs rather than for cats.

Key Features

• Soft, flexible latex that gives under the teeth, which is what makes latex toys popular with dogs that like to mouth and carry rather than shred
• Squeaker inside, which is most of the appeal for a dog that likes noisy toys
• 30 cm tall, so it is a proper carrying-around toy rather than a small squeaker that can be swallowed
• Light enough to throw for fetch and soft enough to be caught
• Made by Flamingo Pet Products, a Belgian pet supplier based in Olen with more than 45 years in the trade

Using It Safely

• Check the toy over regularly and take it away once it starts to split. No toy is indestructible, and swallowed pieces are the real risk
• Latex is a soft material. A powerful chewer will get through it, and this is not the toy for one
• The squeaker is a separate component. If the toy splits, retire it rather than letting the dog work the squeaker out
• Wash it in warm soapy water and let it dry fully. Latex does not like being left wet
• Keep it out of direct sun and off hot surfaces. Latex goes hard and cracks with heat

Good To Know

• Despite the name, this is a dog toy shaped like a cat. It is not a toy for cats — the size and the latex are both wrong for one, and the squeaker is a dog feature
• This listing was previously filed and described as a cat toy. It has been corrected
• Natural latex contains proteins some people react to. Worth knowing if there is a latex allergy in the house
• A dog that destroys soft toys in minutes needs rubber or rope, not latex
