Description
The Fluval Flex Deluxe Aquarium Cabinet is the enclosed cabinet built for the 123 litre Fluval Flex, sized to the tank's footprint and rated to carry it.
Key Features
- Made for the 123 L Flex, so the top surface matches the tank's footprint exactly
- Enclosed cabinet rather than an open stand, which hides buckets, food, test kits and spare media
- Available in black or white
- Rated for the load, which is the entire point — a filled 123 L tank with substrate is around 150 kg
- Made by Fluval, the aquatics brand of Rolf C. Hagen, which has been building aquarium filters since 1975
Setting It Up
- Assemble it in its final position
- Level it carefully before the tank goes on, and check again once the tank is full
- Do not substitute a domestic sideboard. Furniture that is fine for books flexes under a tank, and a flexing base cracks glass
- Leave clearance at the back for cables and the power supply
Good To Know
- Sized for the 123 L Flex only
- An enclosed cabinet stays damp if water gets in. Wipe up spills and leave the doors open for a while after a big water change
- If you later add a canister filter, this is where it goes. Check the internal height before buying one
- Flat-pack — allow an evening for assembly
