JUWEL Filter Cover Stone Lime - Bioflow Filter Cover is a moulded cover that hides the Bioflow filter box inside a JUWEL aquarium, in the Stone Lime finish - a pale limestone.
Key Features
- Solves the one ugly thing about a Bioflow: An internal filter is reliable and easy to service, and it is a black box in the corner of your tank. This makes it look like rock instead.
- Matches the backgrounds: The finishes are shared with the JUWEL 3D backgrounds, so a cover and a background in the same stone read as one piece of rockwork.
- Does not block the filter: It is shaped to clear the intake and the outflow. Fitting anything homemade over a filter box is how people accidentally starve a pump.
- Check your Bioflow size: Tell us which JUWEL aquarium you have, or which Bioflow is in it, and we will confirm this cover fits before we dispatch.
Fitting It In The Tank
- This goes inside the aquarium. Rinse it in plain water before it goes in, and do not use soap or detergent on anything destined for a tank.
- Check it has no sharp edge where a fish could catch itself, and make sure anything you stand it against cannot topple onto the glass.
- Leave a gap behind it for water to move. A sealed pocket behind decor goes stagnant and starts to smell when you disturb it.
Good To Know
- A cover only. No filter and no media included.
- You still have to get at the filter to service it. Work out how the cover comes off before you aquascape around it and wedge it in.
- Check the intake is clear after you fit it, and again after you rearrange anything nearby.
