Description
The Dophin Floating Magnetic Cleaner (size S) is a compact tool for wiping algae off aquarium glass without getting your hands wet. High-strength magnets and a contoured grip do the work from outside the tank, and the inner pad floats, so if the magnets separate it rises to the surface rather than dropping into the substrate.
Key Features
- Floating inner pad, easy to retrieve if the magnets part.
- No blade, so there is nothing that can gouge the glass or a silicone seam.
- High-strength magnets with a contoured outer grip.
- Compact size S, approximately 5 cm x 5 cm, suited to nano and small tanks.
- Clean without wetting your hands or disturbing the fish.
How to Use
Keep the inner pad clear of the substrate. A trapped grain of sand is the usual cause of scratched glass, so lift the cleaner away from the bottom before moving it and rinse it after each use. For hardened algae that a pad will not shift, the version with a blade is the better choice.
