Description
PURINA PRO PLAN Delicate Digestion with OPTIDIGEST is a complete dry food for adult cats from 1 to 7 years with sensitive digestion. Turkey is the first ingredient at 18%, and the recipe is built on highly digestible selected protein sources.
It is also the recipe to try with a genuinely fussy cat. Turkey is more palatable to most cats than chicken, and at 40% protein and 18% fat this is richer than the sterilised recipes, so a cat that eats reluctantly still gets what it needs from a smaller portion.
Note this is the recipe for all adult cats. If your cat is neutered, the Sterilised Delicate Digestion chicken recipe keeps fat lower at 12%, which suits a slowed metabolism better.

Additives per kg
Nutritional additives: Vitamin A 35,000 IU, Vitamin D3 970 IU, Vitamin E 670 IU, Vitamin C 140 mg, iron (II) sulphate monohydrate (Fe 130 mg), calcium iodate anhydrous (I 2.0 mg), copper (II) sulphate pentahydrate (Cu 14 mg), manganous sulphate monohydrate (Mn 48 mg), zinc sulphate monohydrate (Zn 120 mg), sodium selenite (Se 0.14 mg).
Feeding Guide
Daily amounts by bodyweight. Cats prefer to graze, so the ration can be left down or split across several small meals.
| Cat Weight | Daily Amount |
| 2 - 4 kg | 30 - 60 g |
| 4 - 6 kg | 60 - 90 g |
| 6 - 8 kg | 90 - 120 g |
- Keep fresh drinking water available at all times. This matters particularly on a dry diet.
- Transition especially slowly onto this food, over 7 to 10 days, since the cat you are feeding it to already has a sensitive gut.
Storage
- Reseal the bag after each use and store in a cool, dry place.
