Purina Pro Plan LiveClear Sterilised Adult Turkey Dry Cat Food - 1.4KG

PURINA PRO PLAN LIVECLEAR Sterilised Adult is the only cat food of its kind: a complete diet that reduces the allergens in cat hair and dander. The active ingredient is egg yolk powder at 0.6%, which contains a specific protein that binds Fel d 1, the major cat allergen, in the cat's saliva. When the cat grooms, less active allergen transfers to the coat.

Purina's published result is an average 47% reduction in allergens on hair and dander, starting in the third week of daily feeding. That timing matters: it will not work overnight, and it only continues working while the cat stays on the food.

Alongside that, it is a proper sterilised diet: 41% protein to hold lean muscle, 14% fat and 4% fibre to manage weight after neutering, and arginine and omega-3 to support kidney function.

Feeding Guide

• Feed it as the only food. The allergen reduction depends on the cat eating this daily. Mixing in another food dilutes the effect.
• Allow three weeks before expecting a difference, and keep going.
• Sterilised cats gain weight easily. Weigh the ration rather than free-pouring.
• Keep fresh drinking water available at all times.
• When switching from another food, transition gradually over about 7 days.

Please note: LiveClear reduces the allergen burden in a household but does not eliminate it, and it is not a treatment for allergy. It is intended to work alongside other measures such as cleaning and grooming, not to replace them. Anyone with a diagnosed cat allergy should speak to their doctor before relying on it.

Storage

• Reseal the bag after each use and store in a cool, dry place.
