Royal Canin Babycat Milk is a complete milk replacer for kittens from birth to weaning — for orphaned kittens, large litters, or when the mother cannot produce enough milk. The 300g tin contains 3 x 100g sachets and a nursing kit.

Why Kittens Need a Proper Milk Replacer

Cow's milk is not suitable for kittens: it has far more lactose and far less protein and fat than a queen's milk, and commonly causes diarrhoea — dangerous in a newborn. Babycat Milk is formulated to be close to mother's milk.

Feeding Guide (from the pack)

Weeks 5–8 Weaning: use the milk to help the transition to kitten food
  • Reconstitute exactly as directed on the pack and feed at body temperature.
  • Feed the kitten lying on its tummy, never on its back, and let it suck at its own pace — never squeeze milk into the mouth.
  • Sterilise the bottle and teat after every feed. Make up fresh milk for each feed.
  • Weigh kittens daily — steady gain is the best sign that feeding is going well.

Please note: newborn kittens are fragile. Ask your vet for guidance, and see a vet straight away if a kitten stops feeding, becomes cold or weak, or has diarrhoea.

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place. Reseal opened sachets tightly.
