Description
The Sera Fil Bioactive + UV is an external canister filter for freshwater aquariums with a built-in UV-C lamp. It comes with filter media and bacteria, so it is biologically active from the start.
Key Features
- Built-In UV-C: a 5 W UV-C lamp treats the filtered water against pathogens, parasites and the spreading stages of algae.
- Media Included: comes with Sera Siporax Professional filter media and Sera Filter Biostart bacteria.
- Filter Baskets: stack the media in layers and lift them out for cleaning.
- Easy Hose Release: a multi-function valve lets you close and disconnect the hoses for cleaning.
- Quiet And Economical: energy saving, quiet running and built to last.

Good To Know
- Fill the canister with water before switching on.
- Clean the sponges in old tank water, not tap water, to keep the filter bacteria alive.
- Never look into a lit UV-C lamp. Unplug the filter before opening it.
- For freshwater aquariums.
