Description
The Sera Amalgam UV-C Lamp is the 5 W replacement lamp for the UV-C unit built into the Sera UVC-Xtreme 800 and 1200 external filters.
Key Features
- Original Spare Part: fits both the UVC-Xtreme 800 and the UVC-Xtreme 1200.
- Amalgam Technology: Sera say the amalgam lamp lasts up to 42% longer and performs over 52% better than a standard UV-C lamp.
- Clearer Water: the UV-C light in the filter reduces pathogens and floating algae.
- 5 W: the wattage the UVC-Xtreme filters are built for.
Good To Know
- Unplug the filter before opening the UV-C unit.
- Never look into a lit UV-C lamp. UV-C light harms eyes and skin.
- UV-C output fades with use long before the lamp stops glowing, so replace it on schedule.
- Handle the new lamp by its base and keep fingerprints off the glass.
