Description
The Sera Reptil Rainforest Compact is a 20 W compact energy-saving lamp for rainforest terrariums, with a medium-high UV-B output.
Key Features
- 5% UV-B: medium-high UV-B emission for rainforest species.
- Made For Rainforest Terrariums: lighting suited to humid, planted set-ups.
- Combine With Daylight: Sera recommend pairing it with the Sera Reptil Daylight Compact (2% UV-B).
- Energy-Saving: a 20 W compact lamp.
Good To Know
- Glass and mesh screens filter out UV-B, so mount the lamp where its light reaches the animals directly.
- UV-B output fades with use. Replace the lamp regularly, even if it still lights up.
- Give the animals shaded areas to retreat to.
- It contains mercury. Dispose of it at a hazardous waste point, not with household rubbish.
