Feeding Guide

• Feed free choice. Ferrets eat little and often, typically 8 to 10 times a day, so food should be available at all times rather than given as measured meals.
• Limit other foods and treats to 10% of the total diet.
• Remove old food and replenish daily.
• Always provide clean, fresh water.

Please note: ferrets should not be fed dog food, and cat food is a poor substitute. Both are too low in protein and too high in plant matter for an animal that cannot digest fibre well. Avoid sugary treats entirely, including fruit, as ferrets are prone to insulinoma.
