Carnilove Turkey with Catnip Soft Snack - 50g

Carnilove Turkey with Catnip Soft Snack is a semi-moist treat for cats — soft, strongly aromatic and easy to chew.

The texture is what makes these useful. A semi-moist treat asks nothing of the teeth, so it suits an older cat, a cat recovering from dental work, or one that has lost teeth — the animals most likely to refuse a hard biscuit. They are also the right shape for hand feeding, which is worth something with a nervous or newly rehomed cat.

Turkey is a lean base protein. The catnip is not a gimmick: roughly two-thirds of cats carry the genetic sensitivity to nepetalactone and respond to it with obvious pleasure. The other third feel nothing at all, which is entirely normal.

Feeding Guide

• A complementary food. Feed in addition to a complete daily diet, not instead of it.
• Treats should make up no more than 10% of your cat's daily calories.
• Reduce the main meal on days you treat generously.
• Contains hydrolysed chicken liver and chicken protein — not suitable for a cat on a strict chicken exclusion diet.
• Always provide fresh drinking water.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place.
• Reseal the bag after each use — semi-moist treats dry out and harden once left open.
