Description
The Dymax Stainless Steel Lily Pipe Set with Surface Skimmer is an inflow and outflow pipe set for an external canister filter on 12/16 mm hose. The inflow comes with an attachable surface skimmer that takes the film off the top of the water.
Key Features
- Surface Skimmer: clears floating debris, plant trimmings and surface film, so CO2 is not wasted and the water looks clear.
- Surgical-Grade Stainless Steel: resists scratches, rust and build-up, and copes with acidic or alkaline water.
- Will Not Shatter: unlike glass lily pipes, it survives being dropped during cleaning.
- Complete Set: one inflow pipe, one outflow pipe, the surface skimmer and hose clips.
- Planted Or Reef: suitable for planted freshwater tanks and marine reef tanks.
Size
- 12/16 mm hose - outflow 34.5 cm long, 11 cm deep; inflow 35.5 cm long, 30 cm deep; 4.8 cm hook spacing
Good To Know
- Check that your filter uses 12/16 mm hose (12 mm inside). We also stock the 16/22 mm size and the plain set without a skimmer.
- The pipes hook over the tank rim. Our Dymax Lily Pipe Holder set holds them steady on rimless tanks.
- Clean inside the pipes with a long brush every few weeks so flow stays strong.
- Fit the skimmer so its top sits at the water surface, and top up the tank as water evaporates.
