Description
The Hobby Gravel Washer Easy is a gravel cleaning siphon that draws dirty water and debris out of the aquarium gravel during a water change.
Key Features
- Starts Without Sucking: press the pump bulb or shake the bell to start the flow.
- Adjustable Flow: the water flow rate can be turned up or down.
- Tube Holder: an adjustable holder keeps the tube in place on the tank.
- Fish Guard: a protective net stops fish being drawn in, and the bell cannot stick to the tank floor.
- Fresh And Salt Water: suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums.
Good To Know
- Push the bell into the gravel and lift it again, so the dirt is pulled up while the gravel falls back.
- Change around 10-20 % of the water at a time and refill with treated water at the same temperature.
- The guard net has openings of about 5 mm, so watch out for baby shrimp.
- A second Hobby tube holder lets you clip the outlet end to a bucket.
