Description
JBL LimCollect II is a snail trap for aquariums. Put bait inside in the evening, and by morning the snails have crawled in and can be lifted out, with no chemicals in the water.
Key Features
- No Chemicals: removes snails without treating the water.
- Works Overnight: used at night, when snails are active and most fish rest.
- Keeps Fish Out: two adjustable rods limit how wide the entrance opens.
- Fresh Water Inside: water flows through the trap, so any fish that does slip in still gets oxygen.
Good To Know
- Use a piece of fish food tablet or blanched vegetable as bait.
- Empty the trap in the morning and repeat over several nights.
- Shrimp and crabs can also wander in, so check the trap before throwing anything away.
- A sudden rise in snails usually means too much food. Feeding less helps keep them down.
