Looking After It

• Wash it between meals. Wet food left in a bowl goes off quickly in UAE heat, and a greasy bowl is a common cause of feline chin acne
• Plastic scratches with use, and scratches hold bacteria. Replace it once the inside is visibly scored
• Hand wash rather than putting it through a hot dishwasher cycle, which can warp thin plastic over time
