Inaba Churu Bisque Cat Treats - 3 x 40g Pouches is Inaba's Churu Bisque, a thicker and creamier pouch than the Churu tubes, sold in tuna or tuna with salmon. Each pouch holds 40g and there are three to a pack. Inaba labels it a cat food complement, and the pack is marked no carrageenan and no artificial preservatives.

Bisque Or A Churu Tube?

• The bisque is thicker and comes in a pouch, so it works better poured over food or into a saucer than squeezed from a tube.
• A 40g pouch is a larger serving than a 14g tube, which makes it the better choice as a meal topper and the worse one as a training reward.
• It is also the pack to pick if you want to avoid carrageenan, which the Churu Pops recipe uses and this one does not.

Good To Know

• This is a treat, not a meal. Inaba labels the range a complement to a complete food, so it sits on top of the daily ration rather than replacing part of it.
• Keep treats to roughly a tenth of what your cat eats in a day and take the difference off the main meal.
• Serve it as soon as it is opened. Anything left over goes in the fridge and is used the same day; these have no preservatives holding them together.
• A wet treat is not a substitute for a water bowl. Keep fresh water down, especially if your cat eats mostly dry food.
• A spoonful of this is one of the easier ways to hide a tablet, if your vet confirms the medication can be given with food.
