Purina Pro Plan Sterilised Adult Delicate Digestion Chicken Dry Cat Food

PURINA PRO PLAN Sterilised Delicate Digestion with OPTIDIGEST is a complete dry food for neutered adult cats whose digestion needs a gentler approach. It is formulated with chicken pieces as the first ingredient and other highly digestible selected protein sources, with no wheat, to ease the digestive process.

The nutritional shape of this food is worth understanding. 40% protein against 12% fat is a deliberate combination for a neutered cat: protein that high protects lean muscle, while fat that low keeps calories down. Neutering slows metabolism and sharpens appetite, so a sterilised cat gains weight easily on a standard adult food.

Feeding Guide

Daily amounts by bodyweight. Cats prefer to graze, so the ration can be left down or split across several small meals.

• Sterilised cats gain weight easily. Weigh the ration rather than free-pouring, and adjust to keep body condition steady.
• Keep fresh drinking water available at all times. This matters particularly on a dry diet.
• Transition especially slowly onto this food, over 7 to 10 days, since the cat you are feeding it to already has a sensitive gut.

Storage

• Reseal the bag after each use and store in a cool, dry place.
