Description
The Sera Scraper XXL is a long-handled algae scraper for deep aquariums, with three changeable heads for glass, acrylic and soft algae films.
Key Features
- Long Reach: 600 - 900 mm long including the handle, for cleaning down to the bottom of large tanks.
- Three Heads Included: a stainless steel blade for glass, a plastic blade for acrylic, and a sponge for soft films.
- Easy To Change: the heads swap quickly to suit the job.
- Spares Available: a replacement head set fitting the Scraper XL and XXL is sold separately.
Good To Know
- Use only the plastic blade or sponge on acrylic tanks. The steel blade scratches acrylic.
- Keep the steel blade away from silicone seams so it does not cut them.
- Check there is no sand or gravel trapped under the blade before scraping, as it can scratch glass.
- Rinse the scraper in fresh water and let it dry after use.
