Zolux Arabesque Mathilde Two-Storey Bird Aviary, Taupe - 165 x 74.5 x 78 cm

Zolux Arabesque Mathilde Two-Storey Bird Aviary is a two-storey indoor aviary with a pitched apex roof, 165 x 74.5 x 78 cm, on a wheeled frame with a taupe roof and base.

Key Features

• Divided into two storeys by a shelf partway up, each with its own door
• Pitched apex roof in taupe over a plain cream mesh cage
• Five perches and two water containers, with feeders reachable from outside
• Four castors under the frame, so it rolls rather than needing to be carried
• Two drawers pull out for cleaning

Good To Know

• Installation is not included. An aviary this size arrives flat-packed, and the frame and castors go on before it will stand up.
• Keep it out of direct sun and away from an air-conditioning draught. A metal cage heats fast in a UAE room and a caged bird cannot move away from it.
• Stand one side against a wall. A cage marooned in the middle of a room leaves a bird with no direction it can feel covered from.
• Never heat a non-stick pan in the same room. Fumes from an overheated PTFE pan kill birds within minutes, and the bird gives no warning first.
• Two storeys is not the same as two homes. Birds that fight through a divider are still stressed by each other, so house a quarrelling pair in separate cages rather than separate floors.
