Description
The Exotic Nutrition Nectar Pods Jelly Treat are eight sealed jelly pods — a fruit-based treat with calcium added, in mango, pineapple or yogurt.
Key Features
- Fruit-based jelly with added calcium
- Eight individually sealed pods, 0.56 oz (16 g) each
- Peel the lid and put the pod straight in the dish, or squeeze it out for birds
- Popular with day geckos and crested geckos as well as small mammals
- Suits sugar gliders, marmosets, birds and fruit-eating reptiles
Feeding
- One pod, two or three times a week
- Use an opened pod within 24 hours
- Don't leave moist food in the cage for more than 12 hours
Available in: Mango, Pineapple and Yogurt
Good To Know
- Keep treats under about 10% of the daily diet — two or three times a week is a sensible rhythm
- Calcium in a jelly treat is a bonus, not a calcium programme — reptiles still need dusting and proper UVB
- Throw away the plastic shell once emptied; it is not a chew toy
- Not intended for human consumption
- Overfeeding treats causes weight gain. If your pet goes off its main food, stop the treats until it is eating normally again
- This is a treat, not a diet — it does not replace a balanced staple food
- Store in a cool, dry place
