Description
The Exotic Nutrition Gummivore-Fare Original with Mealworms is a ready-to-serve acacia gum gel with mealworms through it, for gummivores such as sugar gliders, marmosets and tamarins.
Key Features
- Pure acacia gum in a gel form, with mealworms added
- Gum plus insect protein in one jar
- Wild gliders spend much of their foraging time on tree gum — this replicates that part of the diet
- All natural, no preservatives
- 8 oz (226 g) jar
Feeding
- Offer about half a tablespoon alongside a staple diet such as Glider Complete
- Serve in a dish, or press into a hollow branch for foraging
Good To Know
- This is a supplemental food, not a complete one — it sits alongside a balanced staple diet
- Keep the jar tightly sealed; once opened, refrigerate and use within 7–10 days
- Overfeeding treats causes weight gain. If your pet goes off its main food, stop the treats until it is eating normally again
- Always leave fresh, clean drinking water available
- Small exotics hide illness well. Weight loss, a change in droppings or refusing food warrants an exotics vet, not a change of treat
