Description
The Dophin P-2500 is a submersible filter pump moving 1250 litres an hour on 30 watts, rated by KW Zone for freshwater, saltwater and pond use. Flow is adjustable, so the same pump can drive a filter return or a gentle feature without blasting the tank.
Key Features
- 1250 L/h output at 30 W.
- Adjustable flow rate.
- Rated for freshwater, saltwater and pond use.
- Fully submersible, single-phase motor.
- Compact body with a threaded outlet for standard aquarium hose.
Technical Specifications
| Model | P-2500 |
| Output | 1250 L/h |
| Power | 30 W |
| Voltage | 220–240 V / 50 Hz |
Setup & Maintenance
Mount the pump fully below the water line and position the outflow so it moves water across the tank rather than into the substrate. Clean the impeller and intake grille periodically; a blocked intake is the usual reason a pump loses output or starts running hot.
Safety
- Disconnect from the mains before removing or servicing the pump.
- The pump must remain fully submerged while running. Never run it dry.
- For indoor aquarium and pond use.
Good To Know
- Model P-2500. 220-240 V / 50 Hz, 30 W, 1250 L/h.
- KW Zone list a ceramic shaft as an option on this pump, so it is not necessarily fitted to every unit.
- KW Zone build the P series in other flow rates; the 1250 L/h P-2500 is the one stocked here.
