Little One Snack For Small Pets - Carob

Little One Snack For Small Pets is Little One's dried snack range for small pets, with four flavours to choose from on this page.

Key Features

• Berry mix: rosehip, rowan and juniper berries, the sharpest-tasting of the four.
• Carob: a naturally sweet Mediterranean pod that most small pets take to straight away.
• Dried carrot: plain dried carrot, the mildest option and the one to start a new animal on.
• Fruit mix: dried banana, pineapple and raisin, the sweetest of the four.

Choosing A Flavour

• Pick the flavour from the dropdown. Each one is priced separately because the packs are not identical.
• Carrot and berry are the ones to offer most often; carob and fruit mix are the sugary end of the range.
• The berry and fruit mixes are also sold as their own listings in a jar, so it is worth comparing before you order.

Good To Know

• Treats are a small part of the day. The complete food and the hay come first, and a snack that pushes those out does more harm than its vitamins do good.
• Dried fruit is concentrated sugar. A couple of pieces is a treat; a handful is a problem, particularly for an overweight animal.
• Introduce any new treat in a small amount and watch the droppings for a day or two before giving more.
• Dried food picks up moisture fast here. If a pack has gone soft or smells musty, throw it out rather than feeding it.
• Keep the pack closed and dry, away from heat.
