Little One Snack Vitamin C - 160g

Little One Snack Vitamin C - 160g is a 160g pack of Little One's berry, fruit and vegetable mix, put together around vitamin C.

Key Features

• Built around vitamin C: berries, fruit and vegetable chosen for the vitamin content.
• Matters most to guinea pigs: a guinea pig cannot make its own vitamin C and depends on food for it.
• Mixed textures: berry, fruit and vegetable pieces together in one pack.
• 160g pack: the smaller of the two vitamin C packs Little One lists.

What It Can And Cannot Do

• A treat with vitamin C in it is not the same thing as a vitamin C supplement. For a measured dose, ask a vet.
• Vitamin C degrades with time, heat and light, so a pack you will finish is worth more than a pack you will store.
• Little One also lists a 180g pack of the vitamin C snack. The two listings are priced separately, so check both.

Good To Know

• Treats are a small part of the day. The complete food and the hay come first, and a snack that pushes those out does more harm than its vitamins do good.
• There is real sugar in the fruit, so this goes out by the pinch.
• Introduce any new treat in a small amount and watch the droppings for a day or two before giving more.
• Dried food picks up moisture fast here. If a pack has gone soft or smells musty, throw it out rather than feeding it.
• Keep the pack closed and dry, away from heat.
