Description
Little One Snack Vegetable Mix - 140g is a 140g pack of five dried vegetables from Little One, given as a treat to rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, degus and hamsters.
Key Features
- Five vegetables: dried pieces of five different crops in one pack.
- Nothing added: no sweetening and no colouring, just dried vegetable.
- Lower sugar than fruit: the vegetable mixes are the ones to offer more often than the fruit ones.
- 140g pack: the smaller of the two vegetable mix packs Little One lists.
Using It
- A pinch at a time, over the food or scattered for the animal to find.
- It mixes into a grain ration well, which helps with an animal that picks out the bits it likes and leaves the rest.
- Little One also lists a 150g pack of vegetable mix. The two listings are priced separately, so it is worth checking both.
Good To Know
- Treats are a small part of the day. The complete food and the hay come first, and a snack that pushes those out does more harm than its vitamins do good.
- Introduce any new treat in a small amount and watch the droppings for a day or two before giving more.
- Dried food picks up moisture fast here. If a pack has gone soft or smells musty, throw it out rather than feeding it.
- Keep the pack closed and dry, away from heat.
