M-PETS Black Coat Dog Shampoo is the black-banded bottle in the M-PETS coat range, made for a black or dark coat and for the dusty look one gets between baths.
Key Features
- The front reads BLACK COAT Shampoo, with a black belgian shepherd on the label
- Shampoing pour pelage noir in French and Shampoo für schwarzes Fell in German
- The twin of the White Coat bottle, which is the same shampoo built for pale coats
- The name is printed along the bottom in five languages, which is how you tell the range apart on a shelf
- M-PETS give the formula as paraben free. This older 250 ml label does not print it anywhere; the newer labels in the range carry a Paraben Free roundel on the front
Good To Know
- Wet the coat right through before you start and rinse until the water runs clear. Shampoo left in the undercoat is the usual cause of itching a day or two later.
- Keep it out of the eyes and ears. Wash the head last, with your hand rather than a jug, and tip the muzzle down.
- Dry the coat all the way through, especially a thick one. A coat left damp against the skin in this climate is how hot spots start, and a fan does more than a towel.
- A dark coat shows every speck of dried shampoo, so rinse it longer than you think you need to and go over the back and the rump twice.
