M-PETS Flea and Tick Dog Shampoo is the tan-banded bottle in the M-PETS coat range, built on neem tree oil, for washing a coat that has fleas or ticks in it.

Good To Know

• Wet the coat right through before you start and rinse until the water runs clear. Shampoo left in the undercoat is the usual cause of itching a day or two later.
• Keep it out of the eyes and ears. Wash the head last, with your hand rather than a jug, and tip the muzzle down.
• This is a dog shampoo. Cats groom everything off their coat and swallow it, and some botanical oils that are fine on a dog are not fine on a cat, so use a cat product on a cat.
• A shampoo is a wash, not a treatment. It deals with what is on the dog at the time and leaves nothing behind, so it does not stop the next flea. A spot-on, a collar or a tablet from your vet is what does that, and the house and bedding matter as much as the dog.
• Lather and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing, working from the neck back so nothing runs forward to the face.
