PURINA PRO PLAN Kitten Turkey in Gravy is a complete wet food for kittens from 6 weeks to 12 months. Turkey is the meat in the gravy, and the recipe includes DHA, the omega-3 that builds brain and retinal tissue and is the reason kitten foods differ from adult ones at all.

Wet food is a particularly good habit to start young. Cats raised on dry food alone often drink too little for the rest of their lives, and at 78% moisture a pouch does the work a water bowl frequently fails to. It is also easier for a kitten with small teeth to eat than kibble.

Feeding Guide

Daily amounts in 85 g pouches, by age.

• Serve across at least two separate meals, and more often when very young. A kitten's stomach is small.
• Adjust to the individual kitten's activity and body condition. The ranges above are wide because kittens vary enormously.
• These amounts assume wet food is the only food. If feeding alongside dry, reduce both accordingly.
• Serve at room temperature. Kittens often refuse food straight from the fridge.
• Keep fresh drinking water available at all times.

Storage

• Store unopened pouches in a cool, dry place.
• Once opened, cover and refrigerate, and use within 24 hours.
