Purina Pro Plan Large Athletic Puppy Healthy Start Chicken Dry Dog Food - 3KG

PURINA PRO PLAN Large Athletic Puppy Healthy Start with OPTISTART is a complete dry food for puppies of large athletic breeds, those expected to exceed 25 kg as adults, providing nutrition through a growth period that runs to 18 to 24 months. It contains dried colostrum, the first milk a bitch produces, naturally rich in antibodies, to support the immune system as the puppy's own takes over from its mother's.

At 32% protein and 18% fat this is the higher-protein large breed puppy option, aimed at leaner, more muscular breeds. If your puppy is one of the heavier, more powerfully built types, the Large Robust puppy recipe holds fat lower at 15% to keep growth steadier.

Feeding Guide

• Puppy feeding amounts depend on both current age and expected adult weight, so follow the full chart on the back of the pack rather than a single figure.
• Split the daily ration across three to four meals for young puppies, reducing to two as they mature.
• Do not overfeed a large breed puppy. Growing too quickly is a genuine risk to developing joints.
• Keep fresh drinking water available at all times.
• When switching from another food, transition gradually over about 7 days.

Storage

• Reseal the bag after each use and store in a cool, dry place.
