Sera KOI Professional 24000 Pond Filter Set with 2 Pumps and 2 UV-C

The Sera KOI Professional 24000 is a multi-stage pond filter for ponds up to 40,000 litres, or koi ponds up to 24,000 litres. This set includes two pumps, two UV-C units and pond hose.

Key Features

• Four Cleaning Stages: UV-C treatment, a stainless steel split sieve, optional fine sponges and a biological stage.
• UV-C Against Green Water: two 55 W UV-C units reduce pathogens and clump floating algae so the sieve can catch them.
• Fine Sieve: a curved stainless steel sieve with 200 µm mesh catches coarse dirt and the clumped algae.
• Biological Stage: water is spread by a Matala mat and trickles over 3 x 2 kg of Sera Siporax Pond, where the filter bacteria live.
• Safety Overflow: if the sponges are not cleaned in time, water bypasses them into the biological stage.

Size

• Ponds up to 40,000 L - koi ponds up to 24,000 L

• The two fine sponges can be slotted in under the sieve when algae bloom.
• Clean the sieve regularly, more often in the warm months when algae grow fastest.
• In the UAE heat, run the filter all day and night so the bacteria get enough oxygen.
