Sera Pond Crystal Clear Fine Filter Medium, 360 g

Sera Pond Crystal Clear is a reusable fine filter medium for garden ponds that traps floating algae (green water) and the finest particles to clear the water.

Key Features

• Clears Green Water: filters out floating algae, sludge and fine particles, which normal filter wool lets through.
• Holds Its Shape: a 3D fibre structure that keeps its form for a long time, and a round shape that stops the filter clogging.
• Reusable: wash it out and use it again, several times over.
• Pack Size: 360 g, for ponds up to 6,000 litres.

Good To Know

• Place it as the last, fine stage in a pressure filter or flow-through filter, or in a separate fast filter.
• It works best with a UV-C clarifier, which kills floating algae so the medium can catch them.
• Rinse it in pond water rather than tap water to spare the filter bacteria.
• Useful in ponds with many fish, or where pollen and dust settle on the water.
