Coollapet makes enrichment for cage birds - foraging toys, chews, perches, swings and mineral blocks for everything from a budgerigar to a macaw. Most of the range is built from the materials a wild bird would work on anyway: coconut shell, bamboo, rattan, palm, loofah and untreated hardwood, with acrylic and plastic used for the parts that need to survive a beak.
Bird toys are not one size fits all. Hardware built for a macaw will trap a budgerigar's foot, and a toy built for a budgerigar is reduced to swallowable pieces by a large parrot in minutes. Each Coollapet listing says which birds it is meant for - check that before the colour.
Three toys swapped around every week or two hold a bird's interest far better than eight left hanging permanently. Keep a couple out of the cage and change them over, and check everything in the cage for frayed rope, split wood and chewed clips while you do it.
