Description
The Aqua Medic mV computer-Set is a microprocessor-controlled redox potential (ORP) monitor and controller, for running a nitrate reductor, dosing ozone or simply watching the redox value of the aquarium.
Key Features
- Wide Range: measures and controls from -1,000 to +1,000 mV.
- Up Or Down Control: the direction of control can be set either way, with LEDs showing the status and the output.
- Waterproof Keys: touch keys for setting values and calibrating the electrode.
- Ready To Use: supplied with a plastic-shafted mV electrode with BNC fitting and calibration fluid.
Good To Know
- Calibrate the electrode with the supplied fluid before first use.
- Keep the electrode tip wet at all times. A dried-out electrode reads wrongly.
- Redox electrodes age, so recalibrate every few weeks and replace the electrode when readings drift.
- For a nitrate reductor, a pressure-resistant threaded electrode is usually needed.
