Description
The Aqua Medic OceanProp 15000 is a propeller current pump for reef aquariums, moving a large volume of water for very little power.
Key Features
- Adjustable Flow: from 5,000 to 15,000 litres an hour.
- Low Power: draws 9 to 20 watts, depending on the setting.
- Safe Low Voltage: 24 V DC motor, supplied with a safety transformer.
- Quiet Propeller: a propeller shaped for strong water movement and quiet running.
- Suction Mount: a vacuum sucker holds it to the inside of the tank.
Good To Know
- Combined with Aqua Medic's PropControl controller, it can pulse to create changing currents.
- Point it so the flow does not blast corals or stir up the sand bed.
- Clean the propeller and the suction cup every few months. Coralline algae and debris cut the flow.
- Keep the transformer dry and outside the tank.
