How To Use

  • Mix 1/3 cup of Mealworm Chow into 3 cups of Mealworm Keeper or other bedding
  • Repeat weekly
  • Feed the insects to your pet the day after they have fed, so the nutrients are still in the gut

Good To Know

  • Gut-loading is the difference between a mealworm being a decent food and an empty one — feed the insects 24–48 hours before you feed them on
  • Dusting insects with a calcium supplement just before feeding is a separate step, and still worth doing
  • Store in a cool, dry place
