Description
The Sera Pond Pump PP is a submersible pump for garden ponds, to feed a pond filter, a stream or a fountain. It sits in a protective basket with a carry handle.
Key Features
- Protective Basket: the pump sits in a basket with a handle that gives it a stable stand and keeps out coarse debris.
- Anti-Clog Impeller: the impeller design largely prevents clogging, so it needs cleaning less often.
- Energy-Saving Motor: an asynchronous motor that gives good pressure at high flow with less power.
- Dry-Run Protection: switches the pump off if it runs dry, so it does not overheat.
- Wet Or Dry Install: made to sit in the pond, but can also be installed dry without the basket. A variable hose connector is included.

Good To Know
- Runs on 230 V. Have outdoor sockets and cables installed safely, with an earth-leakage breaker.
- Pick the model by flow: the pump should move the whole pond volume through the filter at least every few hours.
- Hose length and height lift reduce the real flow, so allow some extra.
- Clean the basket regularly so the pump does not starve of water.
