Aqua Medic Ocean Light Plus Metal Halide and T5 Aquarium Light - 1 x 150 W

The Aqua Medic Ocean Light Plus is a hanging aquarium light that combines metal halide (HQI) lamps with two aqualine T5 fluorescent tubes, for reef and other aquariums that need strong light.

Good To Know

• Hang it at least 30 cm above the water surface, using the steel wire suspension supplied.
• Never run it without its protective glass. Unfiltered metal halide light burns fish and corals and is harmful to people.
• The housing and glass get very hot. Switch off and let it cool before cleaning or changing lamps.
• Keep the vents clear and do not build it into a hood or cover, or it will overheat.
• Metal halide lamps add heat to the water. In a UAE summer a cooling fan or chiller is often needed.
